Saw your call for ideas re your project on the Imitapo Listserv. Would you be open to filming me giving enemas to the effigies of George W. Bush and Laura Bush with Mississippi river water? I wouldn't know how to make the effigies, but I would like to ask some sculptor friends to make the effigies. We could call it THE BROWN GOD IN THE BUSHES

or something. You think it's too sick?

I used to live in Oxford MS, taught CW at Ole Miss for a year. Am currently in Illinois and could meet you on the banks at Cairo, IL with the effigies in the trunk of my Toyota. My book A DEFENSE OF POETRY makes great use of enemas and such, so I thought it would be fitting.
