Plenty Of Fish

16” x 20”

acrylic on canvas

It is a well known fact that mermaids use their song to lure sailors to their watery graves. In order to fish for mermaids, you must cork your ears to avoid hearing the call. For bait, a drowing sailor is best, but sometimes a fake one with a hook in it will do. When the mermaid attempts to mate with and eat the sailor, pull hard on the rope and reel her in.
